With the rapid development of the carton industry, carton machinery enterprises also rose. Before the 1970s, carton production equipment are single machine manual operation, production efficiency is very low, to the 80s some carton enterprises began to introduce advanced Japanese equipment, corrugated cardboard production line, water-based printing slotting machine, circular die-cutting machine, etc., the domestic carton machinery enterprises began to imitate the introduction of equipment. Because the introduction of foreign equipment is expensive domestic carton enterprises most can not accept, which opened the sales for domestic machinery and equipment enterprises. However, the development trend of high-speed, high-grade, high-efficiency, high-tech carton machinery and equipment has become clear.
The trend is to develop high-grade corrugated production lines. Carton enterprises have been using foreign corrugated cardboard production lines for more than 20 years, and must update them and purchase higher-grade production lines. Some large and medium-sized domestic carton enterprises have a certain degree of economic strength and market competitiveness, and they need high-quality, high-grade, high-speed, high-efficiency, wide-width corrugated cardboard production lines. The price difference between domestic and imported lines is huge. Of course, there are still gaps between domestic production lines and international products, mainly in terms of structure, speed, materials and processing accuracy. Single-sided corrugated units faced elimination Single-sided corrugated units rose to prominence in the 1980s and early 1990s, replacing single-sided manual operations and meeting the needs of small and medium-sized carton enterprises, but compared to corrugated cardboard lines, single-sided corrugated units produced soft cardboard with poor quality and high waste of raw paper. At present, "centralized board making, decentralized box making" is the pattern of cooperative production within the industry, and single-sided corrugated units are bound to be eliminated. The future direction of the carton machinery and equipment manufacturing industry is to reduce the number of common tile lines and develop medium- and high-grade tile lines. Three-layer tile lines and five-layer common tile lines are low-grade products that cannot meet market demand because of their slow speed, poor quality and low grade, which limits the development of carton enterprises. Some enterprises have long-used ordinary tile lines and aging equipment that must be updated with high-grade tile lines. Of course, some small and medium-sized enterprises can only purchase ordinary corrugated lines for the time being in order to develop production due to economic conditions and sales restrictions. In addition, different regions should be treated differently. Developed carton packaging provinces and cities, such as Guangdong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, are basically suitable for high-grade tile lines. Some provinces and cities in the western region do not have several production lines, and treat ordinary corrugated lines as "treasures" and have room for development. Therefore, the ordinary tile line is also adapted to small and medium-sized carton enterprises and economic backwardness of the western region, can not be eliminated. However, as the goal of the machinery manufacturing industry, should be oriented to the developed areas of carton packaging, the development of a new generation of high-grade, high-speed, high-quality equipment, carton machinery should also be developed to high-tech content.
